Applications are now open for the inaugural class of PCS ConnectED, a new community engagement program designed to help parents, employees, and community members gain a deeper understanding of Pelham City Schools.

At Pelham City Schools, our mission is to collaborate with parents and community to inspire and empower students to achieve personal success. PCS ConnectED reflects that commitment by creating opportunities for participants to learn more about the school district, connect with district and school leaders, and explore the many people, programs, and services that support students every day.

Throughout seven monthly sessions during the 2026-2027 school year, participants will learn about a wide range of topics, including academics, student services, finance, transportation, technology, facilities, child nutrition, assessment and accountability, and more.

"We're excited to launch PCS ConnectED and create a new opportunity for our community to connect with Pelham City Schools," said Superintendent Dr. Keri Johnson. "When parents and community members understand the many ways we work together to support students, we become even stronger partners. We can't wait to welcome participants to meet the people, experience the work, and discover how every department plays a role in helping our students grow and learn."

Approximately 25 participants will be selected for the inaugural class. The program is open to Pelham City Schools parents, guardians, employees, and community members who are interested in learning more about public education and becoming more engaged in the school community.

Applications are open through Friday, August 28, 2026, and selected participants will be notified by Friday, September 4, 2026.
