Hi, my name is Chris Ferguson, and I am excited to be your child's fourth grade teacher! I hold a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas. I am National Board Certified in Literacy and was honored to be the Pelham Oaks Teacher of the Year (2021-2022).
This is my ninth year with Pelham City Schools, where I have taught kindergarten and fourth grade. Prior to joining Pelham City, I taught for several years in Mountain Brook Schools and in the Atlanta area with experience in kindergarten, first, and fifth grades. My husband and I have two children, one who attends Pelham City Schools, and one who is currently attending Auburn University. I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, singing, and spending time with my family.
