All About Me...
Education
I graduated with my degree in Early Childhood and Elementary regular and special education from Samford University in 2005. After teaching for a year, I went back to school to get my Master's in ESL (English as a Second Language) from UAB. I graduated with my Master's in 2008, the same year I came to Pelham.
Experience
After teaching middle school for two years and special education for one year, I came to Pelham as an ESL teacher in 2008. I taught kindergarten ESL for seven years and then transitioned into the classroom in 2015. Since then, I have taught kindergarten, second grade, virtual kinder, and fourth grade.
Bio
Teaching is in my blood. Both of my parents were educators and I cannot imagine doing anything else. I count it a blessing to be able to work with children on a daily basis, both at home as a mom and at Pelham Oaks as a teacher.
