Cyndi Mason
I graduated from Kent State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education. I taught in Ohio for one year prior to moving to Jacksonville, Florida. I taught there in the private school industry until 2000 when I relocated to Alabama. I taught in a private residential setting in the Birmingham area until 2004 when I earned my Master's Degree in Collaborative Education from the University of Alabama Birmingham. With my son on the way, I decided I wanted to teach elementary age students and began my public school career at Valley Elementary in 2004. I have been with Valley and now Pelham Oaks going on 17 years and look forward to the opportunity to touch the lives of many more students over the next years.
