Jackson Vaughan
Welcome to POES Music!
My name is Jackson Vaughan and I am thrilled to be your child's music teacher this year! I am a graduate of Samford University with a Bachelors of Music Education with a concentration in instrumental music. I am a trombonist and a pianist. While at Samford I performed in the wind ensemble, orchestra, jazz band, marching band, and a cappella choir. I am currently an Orff-Schulwerk Level 2 certified educator and plan on continuing my Orff training. I grew up in the Birmingham area and am so excited to be teaching in the city I call home. When I'm not making music, I spend my time caring for my many house plants, eating at Birmingham's amazing restaurants with friends, and consuming way too much coffee! In addition to teaching at POES, I am also an assistant director with the Pelham High School Marching Band! I look forward to singing, playing, and moving with you and your children this year!
